Introduction
Hi, I’m Kazhiro Tanaka.
After many twists and turns, I’ve embraced the title of “Creator of Immersive Otherworldly Experiences That Stimulate All Five Senses.”
What does that even mean? Sounds a bit dubious, doesn’t it?
Well, I’ve specialized in the horror genre, taking on every aspect of game creation myself-planning, writing, graphics, music composition, and programming-all as a one-person production team.
From smartphone apps to feature phone official websites and social games for platforms like GREE and Mobage, every bit of programming, every word of the script, and every piece of graphic material was created by me alone.
When I say “otherworldly,” I’m referring not only to the fantastical horror settings but also to the unique worldviews created through the fusion of all these elements.
Before entering the world of game development, I worked as a bartender and earned certifications as a chef and sake sommelier. I’ve led quite an eclectic life!
Now, I aim to create experiences that go beyond the visual, auditory, and tactile senses of traditional games-ones that stimulate the senses of smell and taste as well.
That’s why I call myself a “Creator of Immersive Otherworldly Experiences That Stimulate All Five Senses.”

After working in a Yokohama beer restaurant as a beer taster, sake sommelier, and chef, I transitioned into the world of official i-mode websites through online text projects.
I gained experience as a game scenario writer and director before becoming a producer, proposing projects for official websites of communication carriers.
Later, I entered the affiliate advertising industry for feature phones, managing media launches and ad systems as a group manager. During this time, I founded WAH Inc. and became independent.
Initially, WAH Inc. focused on ad platforms like social bookmarking sites but later shifted to game development.
Releases include feature phone titles like Timed Escape Horror: Sealed, social games for GREE and Mobage, and various smartphone apps.
Outside of game development, I teach at vocational schools and write extensively about games, leveraging my vast knowledge of the industry.
